- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆DON'T LET YOUR COLLEGE STUDENT SET UP AN ACCOUNT HERE! My experience with PNC in college was horrible. When I first opened an account, I asked the representative to talk with me about how to avoid possible charges. The information I was given was incorrect, and has resulted in me being charged over $75 in the last 6 months WITH A STUDENT ACCOUNT. The only positive things about this bank is excellent customer service. I'm opening a student Chase account, and I recommend you do too.By Mary Norton, June 03, 2017
